Der Rohrventilator arbeitet nach dem Injektorprinzip. Dabei wird ein Teil der Rauchgase vom Ventilator angesaugt und mit hoher Geschwindigkeit wieder in den Kamin eingeblasen. Dabei entsteht ein konstanter Zug im Kamin. Gleichzeitig bleibt der Kaminquerschnitt 100% frei und kann problemlos gesäubert werden. Der Ventilator kann je nach Rahmenbedingungen auch nur zum Anheizen verwendet werden.
 
Die Ventilatorleistung kann optional über einen Drehzahlsteller angepasst werden.
