Die Robinie stammt ursprünglich aus Nordamerika, ist inzwischen aber auch in Europa heimisch. Ihr goldbraunes Holz besitzt hervorragende Festigkeitseigenschaften und gilt als äußerst dauerhaft. Untersuchungen haben gezeigt, dass sich Robinienholz bestens für den Einsatz als Stielholz eignet.
Die Stiele werden eigens für uns in einer der letzten Stieldrehereien Deutschlands produziert, auch das Robinienholz stammt aus Deutschland.
