From June 22nd to 27th, 2026, the LWL Open-Air Museum Hagen will once again become a hub for the next generation of metalworkers. Together with the German Metalworkers' Association (Bundesverband Metall), the International Association of Designing Blacksmiths (IFGS) invites vocational classes, apprentices, journeymen, and students to unite the tradition and future of the craft at the anvil under the motto "Fire Connects – The Shared Work."
The focus in 2026 will be an ambitious collaborative project that begins months before the first hammer blow.
